Pablo Martín Jones
Pablo Martín Jones born in Madrid in 1980, son of a flamenco guitarist and a flamenco dancer, both Americans living in Spain. Surrounded by music from an early age, he began to take a special interest in percussion, delving into various instruments and styles, although flamenco and Iberian folklore are his main source of inspiration. At the same time, his universe of sound expanded to include basically everything that sounds, while he began to explore the world of electronic music. During this period he has collaborated with a good number of artists from very diverse disciplines and styles; at the same time, he has developed an increasingly prolific career as a composer for dance, performing arts and audiovisuals.

Let's start by imagining what our current music would be like if we had kept certain traditional rhythms of the peninsula alive and they were a natural part of our musical reality. What relationship would we have with these rhythms? How would we listen to them? Would we dance to them? And how would we dance to them? Would we know where folklore begins and ends?
